About the role:

UI Developer at Objectivity is an HTML and CSS/SASS specialist with extensive knowledge in web application layout creation and styling. This expert should be also familiar with concepts such as RWD, Accessibility, UX and modern browsers/devices capabilities. UI Developer works closely with Software Developers, Quality Engineers, UX Specialists and UI Designers in order to create high quality web applications according to graphic requirements. The main difference between UI Developer and Frontend Developer is the fact that we do not require extensive knowledge of Java Script and web frameworks like Angular or React.

Your daily work:

  • Implementing responsive static/interactive application layouts based on HTML and CSS/SASS
  • Creating cross-browser compatible code
  • Adaptation of application design according to graphic requirements, design system or branding guidelines
  • Taking care of the quality of the solution by following best practices
  • Cooperation with project team members to develop web applications

Must-have skills & experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience developing with HTML, CSS/SASS
  • Good knowledge of UI Frameworks like Bootstrap, Material Design
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS validation rules
  • Awareness of trends in user interface design and implementation
  • Practical knowledge of GIT, npm
  • Fluency in English

Nice-to-have skills & experience:

  • Practical knowledge of Java Script/Type Script language
  • Knowledge of web frameworks like Angular, React
  • Knowledge of .NET platform web applications frameworks like ASP.NET, MVC, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Java platform web applications frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
  • Practical knowledge of Accessibility and User Experience
  • Creativity and innovative thinking
  • Practical knowledge of software delivery process and agile methodologies

Recruitment process

  1. We read through every single CV we are sent. A positive outcome here will mean you are invited for an interview.

  2. During this conversation, we would like to find out a bit more about you. Usually, we are curious about your experience, knowledge of tools and technologies, or we verify the level of your language skills. You can also ask us questions about the role and other topics that you find important.

  3. The meeting is held remotely and takes the form of a video call. Apart from an HR Specialist, you will also meet people working in the Development area at Objectivity. This will be a great opportunity for you to get all the necessary information about the role, projects and opportunities in our company - directly from the people working in this role. We are also curious about your experiences and expectations, as well as your skills. 
  4. Finally, it is time for a reply. Our principle is to provide valuable feedback after the recruitment process. You will receive our observations and insights, regardless of the recruitment result. The time for providing feedback is a maximum of 2 weeks, but in most cases, we will get back to you within a week from our last meeting.

  5. Your opinion matters! We wouldn’t be able to improve our recruitment process without your support. Therefore, after completing the recruitment, we will ask you to leave your comment and opinion on our cooperation - in the form of a short questionnaire. Every month, we analyse the results and take action to make our recruitment process even better.
