About the role: 

We are looking for a candidate for the position of a Tax Specialist. At Objectivity, in the Finance Guild, we have specialised teams dedicated to finance areas (payroll, controlling, accounting and taxes). Whenever you are in need, you can also count on support of our legal team. You will provide direct support for the Tax Manager in the scope of current tax issues.

Your daily work:

  • Monthly review of business transactions in relation to their proper settlement (CIT, VAT, WHT).
  • Analysing and issuing opinions regarding contracts and other documents for tax purposes.
  • Supporting tax audits and ad-hoc matters.
  • Ongoing monitoring of changes in the tax law; participating in the process of change management in respect of the tax law application.
  • Participation in preparing and updating transfer prices documentation.
  • Providing support in the process of tax reporting (gathering documentation regarding residence certificates and declarations required by WHT provisions).
  • Ensuring MDR compliance and reporting.
  • Analysis of tax implications of any transactions and business solutions that are being planned and implemented at the moment – also in terms of their international aspects.
  • Participation in developing procedures and other internal regulations creating the internal control system over proper performance of duties in the scope of the tax law.
  • Cooperating with external tax advisors.

You are The One, If You have:

  • Good practical knowledge of the tax and balance sheet law provisions,
  • At least 3 years of experience in working in a tax department or in a tax consultancy company,
  • Very good command of the English language (B2 or C1 level is required),
  • Higher education (preferred: economics or law).


  • Experience in the IT industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of financial-accounting systems and accounting issues.
  • Good command of the German language would be an asset.

Recruitment process

  2. During this conversation, we would like to find out a bit more about you. Usually, we are curious about your experience, knowledge of tools and technologies, or we verify the level of your language skills. You can also ask us questions about the role and other topics that you find important.

  3. The meeting is held remotely and takes the form of a video call. Apart from an HR Specialist, you will also meet people working in the Finance area at Objectivity. This will be a great opportunity for you to get all the necessary information about the role, projects and opportunities in our company - directly from the people working in this role. We are also curious about your experiences and expectations, as well as your skills. 

  4. Finally, it is time for a reply. Our principle is to provide valuable feedback after the recruitment process. You will receive our observations and insights, regardless of the recruitment result. The time for providing feedback is a maximum of 2 weeks, but in most cases, we will get back to you within a week from our last meeting.

  5. Your opinion matters! We wouldn’t be able to improve our recruitment process without your support.
