About the role:

Performance Quality Engineer at Objectivity is a specialist in the field of performance quality assurance. Such a person carefully selects tools for specific tasks in the scope of testing based on specification, structure or experience. In situations that require so, he or she uses automatization tools, but mostly takes care of user security as well as software efficiency and usability. Such a person is not afraid of going beyond their role and suggesting better solutions in a bold manner. He or she introduces improvements related to writing a code individually or making the use of other specialists’ assistance. He or she effectively performs tasks thanks to building relations with his or her project team, i.e. a programmer, a business analyst or a support engineer, as well as the client. Such a person participates in the whole life cycle of a project, from the very stage of consulting, through software creation, to its support. Performence Quality Engineer is a person with passion - eager to learn and share his or her knowledge.

Your daily work:

  • Cooperating with Business Analyst in gathering performance testing requirements,
  • Designing and developing automated performance test framework,
  • Estimating, designing, developing and maintaining performance test scenarios and test data,
  • Executing performance tests, monitoring and reporting test results,
  • Helping in analyzing results to identify and troubleshoot system performance issues and bottlenecks,
  • Mentoring others in performance tests.

Must have:

  • Ability to design, create and maintain load/performance/stress test of web applications,
  • Experience in gathering performance test requirements and working with cross functional teams,
  • Experience in identifying root cause of performance bottlenecks and ability to provide recommendations,
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, software engineering processes, test processes, operating systems and architectures,
  • Practical knowledge in using tools like JMeter, k6.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in data analysis when needed to analyse in performance environment,
  • Database knowledge, experience in measuring client-side performance.

Recruitment process

  2. The meeting is held remotely and takes the form of a video call. Apart from an HR Specialist, you will also meet people working in the Testing area at Objectivity. This will be a great opportunity for you to get all the necessary information about the role, projects and opportunities in our company - directly from the people working in this role. We are also curious about your experiences and expectations, as well as your skills. 

  3. Finally, it is time for a reply. Our principle is to provide valuable feedback after the recruitment process. You will receive our observations and insights, regardless of the recruitment result. The time for providing feedback is a maximum of 2 weeks, but in most cases, we will get back to you within a week from our last meeting.

  4. Your opinion matters! We wouldn’t be able to improve our recruitment process without your support.
