Job description

About the role:

Technical Architect at Objectivity works as a member of our Agile team and plays a keyrole in delivering fit-for-purpose solutions to our clients. By working closely with our clients and team members, you will have an ultimate technical responsibility for a project and a significant impact on solution architecture. You will help to identify the most suitable technologies and frameworks, as well as evangelise and promote good practices, tools and metrics within the development team.

Your daily work:

  • Designing software architecture.
  • Communicating and building a relationship with customers.
  • Participating in all delivery phases, from pre-sales activities - through estimation - to release.
  • Defining non-functional requirements.
  • Creating proof of concept (PoC).
  • Mentoring the development team.
  • Providing a high-quality software.
Our technology and tools:
.NET Azure REST API Microservices Databases Testing Deployment C#/.NET CI/CD
Must have:
.NET Azure Microservices REST API good knowledge of design patterns Excellent analytical skills Mentoring or leadership experience English (min. C1)
Nice to have:

Recruitment process

  2. The meeting is held remotely and takes the form of a video call. Apart from an HR Specialist, you will also meet people working in the software architecture area at Objectivity. This will be a great opportunity for you to get all the necessary information about the role, projects and opportunities in our company - directly from the people working in this role. We are also curious about your experiences and expectations, as well as your skills. During such a meeting, we also ask you to complete technical task related to the role you are applying for.

  3. Finally, it is time for a reply. Our principle is to provide valuable feedback after the recruitment process. You will receive our observations and insights, regardless of the recruitment result. The time for providing feedback is a maximum of 2 weeks, but in most cases, we will get back to you within a week from our last meeting.

  4. Your opinion matters! We wouldn’t be able to improve our recruitment process without your support. Therefore, after completing the recruitment, we will ask you to leave your comment and opinion on our cooperation - in the form of a short questionnaire. Every month, we analyse the results and take action to make our recruitment process even better.

I am a manager of a team of over 30 architects. I have 17 years of experience in software development industry. My specialty is .NET and Azure, but I don’t focus just on those. From time-to-time I still act as a software architect if there’s a challenging project or a need for technical consultancy. In pre-pandemic times, I co-organized WROC# conference. I hope I will be able to explain you more about the role of architect within Objectivity and to see how we could work together.
