About the role:
We believe that quantum computing will be the next business distribution technology. You will become part of the team that will be responsible for delivering quantum software to our customers. This is full-time position. You will take part in the whole process – from helping to educate people about quantum computing, advising which problems can be solved by this technology and finally you will be responsible for designing and implementing quantum software.
Your daily work:
- Design and deliver quantum solutions for real business problems
- Develop and execute innovative quantum algorithms
- Identify potential topics where the quantum approach will be beneficial
- Working with business/IT users from various domains to define the problems that need solving
- Work with the existing team to extend knowledge and awareness of quantum computing in Objectivity and customers' organisations
- Propose recommendations and drive decision making
- Track technology evolution and plan further research
Must-have skills & experience:
- Knowledge of quantum computing and algorithms
- Experience in quantum circuit programming and simulation of quantum algorithms
- Practical knowledge of machine learning and optimisation techniques (including linear and nonlinear methods)
- Problem-solving approach with a high level of independence and can-do attitude
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relation-building skills – need to be able to communicate clearly on different levels
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or Physics or similar
- Familiarity of Python
- Knowledge of Qiskit, Q# or similar language
Nice-to-have skills & experience:
- PhD in topics related to quantum
- Scientific publications in the field of quantum physics, quantum computing or similar
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Commercial experience in delivering quantum computing solutions
- Knowledge of programming languages and paradigms
