The Project Management Advisor role is a key role in our Performance Monitoring and Reporting team. This is a team of our most experienced project managers, who are challenged with analysing in flight projects to identify issues before they become issues.

This team sets the standard for project delivery, operating to the highest standards. Evaluating our projects against current project management best practice. Advising, coaching and mentoring our delivery teams to ensure that we deliver our projects to the most exacting standards that our customers expect from a professional development organisation.

The demands are high, the expectations are higher, and the challenge is relentless. This is an essential role in developing our service, and ensuring Objectivity has the capability to deal with our expanding customer base of Tier 1 customers.

Your role:

Actively participating in the Performance Reporting process by conducting regular one-on-one meetings with project managers in order to verify the condition of the project.

Review communication plans, tasks and artefacts to determine if the right information is being delivered to the right people at the right time.

Ensuring that project risks and issues are escalated and managed appropriately.

Advising project managers on the use and implementation of best practice in project management: standards, tools and practices.

Recommending improvements in existing procedures, processes and tools.

Review key project metrics and project artefacts to assess progress against the project baselines of: cost, scope, schedule and resources.

Verifying with project managers if the appropriate governance processes are being adhered to and seeking the evidence to support the conclusions.

Providing project progress and status information to senior stakeholders and the management board.

Sharing information, experience and knowledge amongst Objectivity project managers to optimize their way of working and building excellence in project management team.

You are the One, if you have:

Knowledge and good understanding of processes related to Software Development Life Cycle.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Questioning and inquisitive mind.

Technical writer skills.

Reliable, accurate and attentive to detail.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Project Management.

Good knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).

Strong communication skills.

Readiness to do repetitive but highly responsible tasks.

Very good spoken and written English (B2 and higher).

The interview

You’ll have the chance to meet specialists from our HR Department, as well as from the Technical Department to which you have applied. We want to get to know you and show you a little of the reality of Objectivity.

Assessment Centre

We only organise this when we are recruiting people who will have direct contact with clients. During the assessment centre there will be simulated tasks which a PM or BA may meet when working for Objectivity.
